Role Details

Location: Haringey

Start Date: May 2026

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a phase (EYFS, KS1, or KS2), ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the team

* Support, coach, and develop teachers to improve classroom practice and outcomes

* Monitor pupil progress and attainment, implementing strategies to close gaps

* Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and assessment across the phase

* Work closely with senior leadership to drive school improvement priorities

* Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment

* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have proven experience as an effective classroom practitioner

* Have experience leading a subject, year group, or phase (or be ready to step into leadership)

* Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Be passionate about raising attainment and supporting staff development

* Be committed to inclusion and ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential
