Academics Agency are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience or a deep desire to support learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Your Role:

Position: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD Specialism)

Location: Mansfield, South Yorkshire

*

Schedule: Term-time only, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

*

Rate: £88.94 - £110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)

We Are Looking For Someone With:

A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

*

Experience or a strong, demonstrable interest in supporting individuals with PMLD or complex physical and learning needs.

*

Understanding of specialist approaches such as sensory storytelling, switch skills, and promoting communication through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) where applicable.

*

A patient, positive, and proactive attitude, with a focus on promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.

*

A firm commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.

*

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one swiftly).
