We are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter Operator to join a leading sheet metal company based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term, stable position with full training and development available for the right candidate.
Location: Northampton
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
Duties:
* Setting and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
* Conducting quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specification
* Adjusting machine settings for different materials, thicknesses, and designs
* Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
* Logging production output and reporting any defects or non-conformances
* Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets
The ideal candidate must:
* Previous experience setting and operating press brake machinery
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* A good understanding of sheet metal processes and materials
* High attention to detail and quality
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
* Willingness to learn and develop with bespoke training provided
