Academics is seeking a dedicated Primary Computing Instructor to provide PPA cover at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Slough.
About the Role:
As a Primary Computing Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering engaging computing lessons across the school, providing high-quality PPA cover, and supporting class teachers to ensure every child has access to an inspiring and creative digital curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver well-planned computing lessons across KS1 and KS2 during PPA time
* Support classroom activities and curriculum delivery
* Work closely with the teaching team to raise attainment and engagement
* Contribute to whole-school IT initiatives and digital learning strategies
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
* HLTA qualification, teaching assistant qualification, or relevant computing teaching experience
* Strong background in primary education, ideally with a computing or IT specialism
* Confidence delivering lessons independently across all year groups
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
