Primary ECT (KS2) - Doncaster
Are you an ambitious Primary ECT eager to develop your classroom skills within Key Stage 2? Academics are supporting a range of Doncaster primary schools seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to join their KS2 teams on a flexible, supply and ongoing basis.
Position: Primary ECT (KS2)
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing placements
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a KS2 Primary ECT, you'll work across Year 3 to Year 6 classes, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they build independence and prepare for key assessments. These roles are perfect for ECTs looking to gain varied KS2 experience, strengthen behaviour management skills, and work within supportive schools that value professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Support pupil progress and attainment across core subjects
* Maintain a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment
* Assess learning and provide constructive feedback
* Work closely with teaching assistants and senior staff
* Develop your teaching practice through reflection and mentoring
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Early Career Teachers encouraged to apply
* Interest or experience within KS2
* Strong communication and classroom presence
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
