A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow (HA3) is seeking a Primary Maths Leader to join the team from September 2026 on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about maths teaching and learning and is ready to take on subject leadership across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

* Role: Primary Maths Leader (Class Teacher with TLR)

* Start Date: September 2026

* Location: Harrow, HA3

* Contract: Full time - permanent

* Salary: £38,870 - £50,474 per annum (FTE) + TLR 2B

Responsibilities

* Lead and develop the teaching and learning of mathematics across KS1 and KS2 as the Primary Maths Leader

* Deliver high-quality classroom teaching alongside leadership responsibilities

* Support colleagues with planning, assessment and subject knowledge development

* Monitor pupil progress in maths and contribute to whole-school improvement

* Work collaboratively with senior leaders to embed a consistent and ambitious maths curriculum

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2

* A strong understanding of effective maths pedagogy

* Ready to take on or further develop a leadership responsibility as Primary Maths Leader
