Are you an experienced Primary Teacher ready to step into a leadership role?

Do you have experience working with pupils with additional needs or in alternative provisions?

Are you looking for a rewarding permanent leadership position?

If so, this role is perfect for you!

Primary Phase Leader - The Role

This school is looking for an experienced Primary Phase Leader to lead the primary provision within an alternative education setting. The successful Primary Phase Leader will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum, leading teaching and learning, and supporting staff development across the primary phase.

You will teach a small class of pupils while also taking on leadership responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and ensuring high standards of teaching and behaviour. The role involves working closely with senior leadership to drive progress, improve outcomes, and create a structured and engaging learning environment.

The ideal Primary Phase Leader will have strong behaviour management skills and experience working with pupils who may have SEMH needs, autism, or have been excluded from mainstream settings.

Primary Phase Leader - The School

This is an alternative provision in North London supporting approximately 40-70 pupils aged 5-16, with a dedicated primary phase. Pupils often have SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, or gaps in education due to previous exclusions.

The school provides small class sizes (typically under 8 pupils), a highly supportive staff team, and a strong focus on re-engagement, emotional development, and reintegration into education. The provision is well-established locally and is typically rated "Good" by Ofsted.

If this Primary Phase Leader role is for you, APPLY Now, or contact Nathan at TLTP.
