A wonderful primary school in Maldon are seeking an Assistant Headteacher to join them ASAP on either a permanent contract or long term contract for at least 2 terms (depending on your availability).
This is a full-time role with responsibility for pastoral support, teaching & learning and assisting on the daily operations within the school.

This role will not be class based but there will be elements of teaching small groups 2 days per week.
This role would be ideal for an experienced Assistant Headteacher or a Phase Leader/ Middle Leader who wants to progress in the next stage of their career.
As this schools Assistant Head, you will have strategic and operational responsibility for:
- Behaviour and pastoral support across the school
- Continuous improvement in quality first teaching across the school to raise standards and outcomes in all areas
- Day to day operational running of the school
Duties:
* Maintain & develop the ethos and practice of the school in line with their visions, values and strategies
* Promote creativity, innovation and the appropriate use of technologies to achieve excellence
* Contribute to the strategic development of the school as part of the SLT
* Demonstrate high standards of planning, first quality teaching
* Contribute to the design, development and implementation of teaching across EYFS, KS1 & KS2.
For this Primary School Assistant Headteacher role you must hold QTS and have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience across a wider range from Nursery to Year 6.
