Primary Teacher - Worksop
Academics, acting as an agency, are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for flexible, temporary ongoing positions across primary schools in Worksop.
Position: Primary Teacher (Qualified)
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing
School: Supportive and inclusive primary schools across Worksop
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)
About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and educate young learners across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a range of welcoming and supportive schools throughout Worksop. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, this flexible role allows you to manage your own schedule while gaining valuable classroom experience and making a real difference to pupils' learning journeys.
You'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons that promote curiosity, achievement, and confidence within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities.
* Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
* Assess progress, provide feedback, and track pupil achievement.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams.
* Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure pupil wellbeing at all times.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
✔ Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
✔ Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
✔ Adaptable and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
✔ Passionate about supporting pupils' progress and development.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
