Primary Teacher - KS2 - Stafford - Short/Long Term Contract - Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for a committed and driven KS2 Primary Teacher to support a range of school settings supporting the Key Stage 2 classrooms on a supply basis. The primary teacher will be open to having a more flexible approach to temporary, supply work and a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and being able to implement this into worthwhile, engaging lessons for the pupils. You will be a reliable, trustworthy and committed primary teacher who is looking for a more flexible approach to teaching; you must be open to supply opportunities within Stafford and the surrounding South Staffordshire areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher with KS2 experience who is seeking temporary working arrangements such as short term/long term with a reputable supply agency. The role can vary from working within Lower Key Stage 2 through to Upper Key Stage 2 supporting pupils with SAT's preparation. You hold responsibility as class teacher in ensuring that all students feel fulfilled, safe and driven to work and achieve. As a primary teacher you must be able to adapt the curriculum/lessons in ways which support each and every child ensuring each child is given the opportunity to thrive; you must be confident working alongside other staff members creating professional relationships. Successful candidates will be confident in supporting the implementation of the National Curriculum; preparing the older pupils for the move up to key stage 3.
The role includes:
* Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
* Teaching across different KS2 settings on a short term/long term basis.
* Full class teacher responsibilities.
* Taking on the role of planning, marking and assessing in line with the schools policies.
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school's behaviour policy; ensuring behaviour never slips.
* The ability to work collaboratively alongside staff and parents is essential.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing school settings on a temporary basis, this is crucial.
We are looking for someone who:
* Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). This role is open to ECT's.
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Enhanced DBS
* Provide 2 teaching references
* Available to start ASAP
* Able to commute to Stafford and surrounding areas daily.
* Fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: £140 - £159 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
