Principal Geotechnical Engineer - Birmingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established UK engineering consultancy delivering specialist geo-environmental and ground investigation solutions across a wide range of infrastructure, commercial and residential projects. Based in Birmingham, you'll become part of a collaborative team known for technical excellence and innovative problem-solving.
As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
* Leading ground investigations and geotechnical assessments.
* Managing projects from tender through to successful delivery.
* Producing high-quality technical reports and providing expert advice.
* Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Working with the design team on Geotechnical Design projects

* A relevant degree and significant geotechnical or geo-environmental experience.
* Strong project management, leadership and report writing skills.

* A full UK driving licence.

* Residence in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Birmingham office.
