Procurement Associate | Cambridge | Up to £36,000

There's a lot happening in aerospace supply chains right now, and somebody has to make sense of it all. If you're the kind of person who turns complex data into decisions, thrives on structure, and wants to be the analytical backbone of a procurement function operating at pace, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

This is a role where your attention to detail genuinely matters, where your insight shapes how the function performs, and where precision directly protects programme delivery.

As a Procurement Associate, you will benefit from:

A technically challenging role within a thriving NPI and OEM/Spares environment

The opportunity to develop and own your own suite of KPIs and reporting tools

Close collaboration with Expeditors and Buyers

A role with real visibility, contributing directly to senior leadership reporting

Continuous professional development encouraged, including support for further CIPS qualification

Scope to lead and influence continuous improvement within the supply chain

As a Procurement Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining KPI suites to measure functional process performance, utilising Power BI where required

Extracting, analysing and transforming complex data to assess supplier performance and delivery timelines through the order book process

Producing aggregated insight-led reporting for management and senior leadership review

Driving compliance for procurement data accuracy within the MRP system

Identifying and escalating supply chain delivery risks in collaboration with Procurement Project Specialists

Supporting functional projects focused on continuous improvement across the supply chain

As a Procurement Associate, your experience will include:

Demonstrated experience in procurement/supply chain withiin a manufacturing environment

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI capability

Proven ability to manage and analyse complex datasets from multiple sources

Sound understanding of MRP/ERP systems and end-to-end supply chain planning

Strong stakeholder communication skills, both written and verbal

If you're ready to bring your analytical thinking into a high-performing procurement function where your data-driven approach will directly influence outcomes, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today with an up-to-date CV or call Amber Thornel at Rubicon for more information.
