About your new Procurement Coordinator role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Elland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sourcing and supplier management, who enjoys working across departments to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for a wide range of purchasing needs—from sourcing quality products and negotiating with suppliers to managing ongoing contracts and supporting the onboarding of new starters with uniforms, PPE, and more. You’ll also play a key part in ensuring our offices are well-stocked and organised by handling stationery, merchandise, and confidential waste arrangements.
This is more than just a purchasing role—it’s a dynamic and varied position where you’ll interact with teams across the business, support new projects, and help shape more efficient procurement practices.
The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for
- Reviewing and analysing products and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
- Managing purchase orders and maintaining up-to-date supplier records
- Coordinating new starter uniforms, PPE, and “goodie bags” in partnership with HR
- Overseeing contracts for uniform and hygiene management services
- Handling procurement for office supplies, merchandise, and waste management
- Supporting cross-departmental projects and providing procurement advice
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying opportunities to optimise supply
Experience required for Procurement Coordinator role
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
- Experience in procurement or purchasing roles
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Understanding of uniform, PPE, and hygiene requirements
If you’re a self-motivated professional who’s ready to take ownership of key procurement responsibilities in a collaborative and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
