Production Assembler | Ferndown | Up to £30,000 per annum

As a Production Assembler, your responsibilities will include:

Assembling and testing electro-mechanical components to work instructions and quality procedures

Carrying out electrical safety testing and calibration using standard test equipment

Assembling, packing, labelling and inspecting consumable and reagent products

Processing orders through the ERP system

Performing routine cycle counts and maintaining an organised work cell

Supporting continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment

As a Production Assembler, your experience will include:

Previous experience in light production assembly , kitting and packing

Experience working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment desirable

Experience using MRP/ERP systems advantageous

Working knowledge of a quality system driven environment ( ISO 9001 or similar) desirable

Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail

GCSE qualifications or equivalent
