Production Coordinator

Role Profile

Our client, a well-established and growing consumer goods business, is looking to recruit an organised and proactive Production Coordinator. This is a key role within the supply chain team, responsible for coordinating production activities with suppliers across Europe, Turkey, and South Africa.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth production planning, accurate documentation, and on-time delivery of goods - all while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting the company's sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across multiple regions.

* Lead regular supplier meetings to track production progress and resolve issues quickly.

* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to create and manage production critical paths.

* Ensure all pre-shipment documentation is received and approved before dispatch.

* Use Monday.com and internal ERP systems to manage production schedules and data accuracy.

* Support the technical team with arranging in-line and final product inspections.

* Assist with onboarding new suppliers, including initial assessments and payment term negotiations.

* Coordinate audits in collaboration with technical and compliance teams.

* Monitor supplier performance and support the ongoing supplier KPI programme.

* Communicate forecasts and production capacity with factories, managing rolling 6-month forecasts for key lines.

* Produce and present monthly capacity and production reports.

* Support environmental and social responsibility goals by working with suppliers to improve sustainability performance.

Skills & Experience

* Experience in a similar production or supplier coordination role.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and suppliers.

* Excellent organisation and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

* Proficient in Excel and experienced in managing production schedules and timelines.

* Experience using Monday.com or similar project management tools is advantageous.

* Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

* Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines.

* Willingness to travel to supplier sites when required.
