Are you a hands-on Production Operative who enjoys building and assembling products? Do you have experience using hand and power tools, or are you keen to learn new skills within a manufacturing environment? If so, we want to hear from you.

Impact Recruitment are currently working with a specialist manufacturer based in Wellingborough who design and build hardware solutions used within the UK's telecommunications and fibre optic networks. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their production team on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop practical engineering and assembly skills within a growing industry, with full training provided and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Location: Wellingborough

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 17:30 // Friday: 07:30 - 15:00

Salary: £28,288 per annum

Contract: Temp to Perm

Duties:

* Assemble fibre optic and electrical enclosure units using hand and power tools

* Follow assembly drawings and work instructions to build products accurately

* Use measuring equipment and basic workshop tools

* Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

* Work as part of a production team to meet daily targets

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

* Support continuous improvement activities where required

The ideal candidate must:

* Be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing or production environment

* Have experience using hand and power tools, or be willing to learn

* Be physically fit and capable of being on your feet throughout the working day

* Have a strong work ethic and a reliable attendance record

* Be able to follow instructions and assembly drawings accurately

* Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work

* Be looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent employment
