Production Team Leader
Brixworth | Monday-Friday | 6am-2pm
£30,000 - £34,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Production Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader looking for your next challenge?
We're recruiting on behalf of a highly successful international manufacturer seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to oversee a busy production and warehouse operation. This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in driving performance, developing people and delivering operational excellence.
You'll lead a team across production and warehouse functions, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and customer delivery targets are consistently achieved.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
* Lead, motivate and develop production and warehouse personnel
* Ensure all operations are carried out safely and in line with company procedures
* Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and people metrics
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor productivity, attendance, timekeeping and team performance
* Support training and development across the team
* Work closely with planning, operations and other departments to achieve production targets
* Ensure smooth shift handovers and effective communication across the operation
* Maintain high standards of workplace organisation, stock control and visual management
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience leading teams within a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment
* Strong people management and communication skills
* A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
* Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure
* Experience using production, ERP/MRP or warehouse management systems
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Full UK Driving Licence
* FLT Licence desirable but not essential
