Penguin Recruitment is working with a well-established and design-led architectural practice in Peterborough, currently seeking a Project Architect with strong technical expertise to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for an experienced Architect who is confident leading medium to large-scale residential or mixed-use projects through technical design and delivery stages (RIBA 3-5).

Role Responsibilities:

*

Lead architectural packages from Stage 3 onwards, with a focus on technical design and on-site delivery.

*

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants to ensure integration of technical solutions.

*

Prepare and review detailed construction drawings, schedules, and specifications using Revit.

*

Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and statutory requirements.

*

Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities throughout the delivery phases.

*

Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and provide technical support during construction.

Requirements:

*

ARB-registered Architect with minimum 5 years post-Part III experience.

*

Proven project-running experience across RIBA Stages 3-5.

*

High level of proficiency in Revit is essential - must have delivered BIM Level 2 projects in practice.

*

Strong technical and construction knowledge in the UK context.

*

Experience in consultant coordination and managing design information.

*

Familiarity with JCT contracts and UK procurement methods.
