Daily Duties

* Lead projects through all design phases, from concept to delivery

* Coordinate project teams including internal staff and external consultants

* Produce, review, and approve technical drawings and documentation

* Oversee site visits and construction administration to ensure design quality

* Monitor schedules, budgets, and project financial performance

* Liaise with clients, present proposals, and respond to feedback

* Mentor and develop junior staff

* Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, health & safety, and sustainability

* Contribute to bids, tenders, and proposals

* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and consultants

Ideal Candidate

* ARB‑registered architect with substantial post-Part 3 experience

* Commercial, Life Science and Health experience

* Proven experience running projects from inception to completion

* Strong technical skills in detailing, drawing, specification, and documentation

* Excellent organisational, leadership, and team management skills

* Proficient in relevant design software and UK regulations

* Strong communicator with client and multi-disciplinary coordination experience

* Proactive, commercially aware, and solution-focused

* Experienced in mentoring junior staff and delivering projects on time and budget
