Psychology Graduate Assistant - SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Borough of Islington
Age Range: 11-19
Pay: £90-£105 per day
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 - 3:30
Contract Type: Temp to Perm - Until end of Academic Term with option to extend
We are currently recruiting a Psychology Graduate Assistant to support students aged 11-19 in a specialist SEN school in Islington.
This role is ideal for graduates seeking practical experience aligned with psychology, mental health, youth work, education, or therapy.
About the Role:
As a Psychology Graduate Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN) such as ASD, SEMH and Complex needs
* Help students access learning and engage positively in the classroom
* Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and social development
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals
* Gain daily, hands-on experience in a structured and supportive environment
