Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Hammersmith and Fulham (Primary & Secondary SEN School)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Hammersmith and Fulham this April.

This inclusive setting is well-regarded for its supportive ethos and commitment to helping every pupil reach their potential. The school operates across two specialist sites within the borough: one dedicated to primary-aged pupils and the other to secondary students, allowing tailored support for children at different stages of their education.

This role is ideal for a psychology graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience supporting children with special educational needs before pursuing a career in educational psychology, clinical psychology, speech and language therapy, or teaching.

You will work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them engage confidently in their learning and development.

Role details

* Full-time position, term time only

* Opportunity to work across either the primary or secondary SEN site

* Friendly working hours and a supportive staff team

Ideal candidate

* Psychology graduate or final-year psychology student

* Strong interest in child development, SEN, or mental health

* Patient, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education

* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team

* Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language, or similar) is desirable but not essential

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment while making a real difference to pupils' learning, confidence, and wellbeing.
