4 day week OR 5 day week available!
As a Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and customer‑specific requirements
* Driving quality strategy, KPIs and governance across the Blandford site (with travel to Poole when required)
* Overseeing APQP and ensuring accurate, on‑time PPAP submissions
* Implementing in‑process quality controls, including audits, error‑proofing and process capability studies
* Managing customer and supplier quality performance, including complaints, audits and corrective actions
* Reducing scrap, rework and cost of poor quality through data‑driven problem solving
As a Quality Manager, your experience will include:
* Leadership experience within manufacturing quality management
* Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA
* Hands‑on experience with metrology, GD&T, jigs, fixtures and capability analysis
* Exposure to processes such as forming, fabricating, welding, machining or assembly
* Confident customer‑facing communication and supplier development skills
* A structured, analytical approach to problem solving using tools such as 8D and 5‑Why
