Religious Education Teacher - Permanent Position (Full-Time)

Start Date: April 2026

Quantum Scholars are working with a secondary school in Buckinghamshire to appoint a Religious Education Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in April 2026.

The Role

You will join a dedicated and collaborative Humanities department, delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of a thriving secondary school.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Ability to teach Religious Education at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

A genuine passion for inspiring and engaging young people

*

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

*

Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress

*

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team

*

An up-to-date Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
