Religious Education Teacher - Canterbury - Full Time - September 2026 Start
Academics, Canterbury are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking to appoint a qualified Teacher of Religious Education to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE teacher to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department.
The Role
* Full-time Teacher of Religious Education/Religious Studies
* September 2026 start
* Teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable)
* Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons
* Encouraging critical thinking, discussion and respect for different beliefs and cultures
* Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes
* Working collaboratively within an established Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
* Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
* A passion for Religious Education and student achievement
* The ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
