This online & red brick retailer is looking to recruit a Buyer to be responsible for developing their categories. Working in a small & fun team you will have lots of autonomy.
Roles and Responsibilities for the Buyer include:
* Manage and maintain product categories whilst taking full ownership for sourcing of specific product ranges.
* Undertake cost analysis for new products and categories, which satisfy the company's margin requirements.
* Manage sales and stock reports; undertaking regular analysis and action any amends as required.
* Provide product information in terms of key selling features and specification detail.
* Carry out competitor analysis, developing an understanding of market drivers and take ownership and action amends
* Work closely with the merchandise teams
To be successful in the role of the Buyer you must have:
* Previous experience of working within retail buying, range development/building and promotional planning
* Highly organised, dedicated individual with excellent time management
* A good eye for detail and proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes.
