This 5 Partner Firm is a specialist music rights, royalties, and transaction services practice with nearly 30 years of heritage in the music accountancy sector. Driven by heavy investment in proprietary and advanced data infrastructure, the firm analyses royalties at the most granular level to surface commercial trends, identify income anomalies, and execute catalogue valuations. Operating with an agile, peer-to-peer culture, the business offers a collaborative, workplace where team members collaborate closely with senior partners to deliver market-leading accounting and advisory services to high-profile music clients globally.

Responsibilities

Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual third-party royalty statements across publishing and recorded music clients.

Execute complex royalty statement analysis and accounting for artist profit-share arrangements and management commission agreements manually and via Curve royalty software.

Collate, edit, reconcile, and process high-volume sales and income data in Curve systems for third-party accounting preparation.

Liaise with internal accountants, rights management, data teams, and external clients to track income streams and disseminate vital financial reports.

Maintain and update project management systems (Monday.com) and documentation repositories (Confluence) to streamline operational workflows.

Prepare fee quotes, project budgets, and ongoing client billing documentation based on accrued chargeable time.

As a Royalties Accountant you will have:

3 years+rsquo; experience working at a firm or team specialising in the music industry

Experience interpreting Agreements

Experience working in a similar position

Knowledge or experience working with systems such as Curve royalty, Monday.com or Jira
