Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and well-organised primary school?

Our client, a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the Chester / Cheshire area, is seeking a skilled and professional School Administrator to join their dedicated office team. This is a pivotal role within the school, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all administrative and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.

* Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing enquiries from parents, staff and external visitors.

* Maintain accurate pupil records using school management systems (e.g. SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom).

* Manage pupil admissions, attendance, and school census returns.

* Support HR and payroll processes, including staff absence records and recruitment administration.

* Assist with budget monitoring, ordering supplies, and processing invoices.

* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and health & safety policies.

* Coordinate school communications, newsletters, and website updates.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a school administrator /related role is essential.

* Proficiency with school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong organisational ability with attention to detail and accuracy.

* Confident using Microsoft Office and handling confidential information.

* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure in a busy environment.

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

* Able to travel and work in the North Cheshire / Chester / South Wirral area
