The Role - School Librarian, Hounslow
As a School Librarian, you will support the day-to-day running of the school library, ensuring it remains a well-organised, welcoming, and effective learning space for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and organising library resources and materials
* Supporting students with reading, research, and library use
* Assisting teaching staff with access to learning resources
* Maintaining a calm, professional, and inclusive library environment
* Supporting literacy and independent learning where required
Requirements:
* Previous school librarian or library-based experience is essential
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confidence working with children and young people
* Professional, reliable, and punctual
* A genuine interest in education and supporting student learning
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
* Relevant professional references
