Full-Time | Long-Term Contract (April 2026 - June 2026)
£168-£232 per day (DOE)
Academics, a leading education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Science and Maths Teacher for a fantastic Secondary School in Leek. This is a long-term teaching opportunity starting in April 2026.
Job Responsibilities
* Science and Maths Teacher across Key Stage 4
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
* Creating a positive learning environment and supporting student progress
* Working collaboratively within a supportive department
* Upholding high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Degree in a Science or Maths-related subject
* Strong subject knowledge
* Good behaviour management skills
* Experience teaching the UK curriculum (desirable)
* A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring learners
* Able to commute to Leek on a daily basis
