Academics are working with a leading specialist school in Dunstable that is expanding its provision and looking to appoint a number of enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who may not have previous experience working within an SEMH setting. Prior experience is not essential - the school is looking for individuals with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

The Role

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to help learners overcome the barriers that can prevent them from engaging with education.

You will support pupils both in the classroom and during wider school activities, helping them to:

* Develop confidence and self-esteem

* Manage emotions and behaviour

* Build positive relationships with staff and peers

* Engage with learning and develop their academic skills

* Develop independence and resilience

* Overcome barriers to learning and make positive progress

You will receive support and guidance from the school's experienced team, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist educational environment.
