A small, but modern and successful accountancy firm based in Melton Mowbray are seeking Semi-Senior / Senior Accountant for a key job role with development prospects, flexible terms, study support and ongoing development. The firm are undergoing a period of growth and are looking to expand their workforce to deal with the workload. The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason. Responsibilities:Xero software - bank reconciliation, invoicing, payments etc.Preparation of accounts for the director's reviewAnalysing receipts/bank statements on a spreadsheetPosting journalsFixed assets registerPreparing management accounts Preparing personal tax returns and VAT returnsYou would be working closely with clients and mainly involved in bookkeeping, VAT returns, tax computations and accounts preparation.
