** 8:45am (children arrive at 9:15)-3:30pm daily

Job Overview:

* We are looking for a strong Art Teacher working with children who have challenging behaviour.

* Teaching Key Stage 3-4.

* Part time working days are as follows: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

* Duration: minimum of 1 month (possibility to be long term for the right person).

* You will be teaching children with difficult behaviour, so experience within this field would be beneficial but not mandatory.

What do they expect of you?

* Clear, concise methods of teaching.

* Have a genuine passion for making a difference to SEN children.

* Proven experience teaching Art in Secondary school (Key stage 3-4)

* UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) OR 4+ years' experience working within a secondary school overseas.

* SEMH experience would be beneficial, but not mandatory.

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

* Flexible, adaptable, and passionate about education.

* Driven to improve the education and life choices of young SEN people.

* Be able to support pupils both in classroom and 1:1 should they seek this.

* Be a positive role model and offer encouragement & promote confidence.
