Are you an experienced SEN professional ready to take the next step in a rewarding and impactful role?

Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is currently working with a forward-thinking and supportive SEN college in North Birmingham. We are looking to appoint a skilled and passionate SEN college HLTA to join the team on a full-time basis from September 2025.

This SEN College HLTA role is ideal for experienced individuals who are confident supporting students aged 16-25 with complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity to:

Take a leading SEN College HLTA role in supporting the delivery of high-quality SEN education

*

Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis with tailored learning programmes

*

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individual support strategies

*

Gain further experience within a specialist post-16 setting

The Ideal Candidate Will:

*

Have a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting or teaching students with SEN

*

Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications/training

*

Be confident in leading sessions and providing targeted intervention support

*

Be available full-time during term-time from September

*

Be based in or able to commute to North Birmingham
