Inspire, support, and make a lasting difference - teach SEN pupils in Bristol!
Are you passionate about helping young people with special educational needs thrive? Do you want to be part of a warm, welcoming and expert team who genuinely make a difference every single day?
About the SEN Teacher role
We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic, qualified and experienced SEN teacher to join us this September. You'll deliver engaging lessons to learners aged 4-19 with a range of complex needs, including:
* Severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)
* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* Attachment difficulties
* Dysregulated behaviours
The pupils are grouped by ability and social needs rather than age, and many use alternative forms of communication such as Makaton, symbols, or voice-output aids. This means you'll need to be flexible, innovative and nurturing in your teaching approach.
You'll work in a structured, supportive environment with an emphasis on inclusive, differentiated teaching and positive behaviour support. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to help learners achieve their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.
What we need from you
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A genuine commitment to working with students with SEND
* Confidence working with challenging behaviour using a trauma-informed approach
If you are interested in this SEN Teacher role, please apply online or for further information contact Academics LTD Bristol office and speak to Janine Robinson
