SEN Teaching Assistant East Kent
Academics in Canterbury are looking for dedicated and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in East Kent, including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone, and Hythe.

What you'll do as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN

Assist with personalised learning activities and inclusion in class
*
Encourage confidence, independence, and positive communication
*
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure progress
What we're looking for:

Experience supporting children with SEN (school, nursery, or care setting)

Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach

Flexibility to work across different schools and needs

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
