Are you a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in children's lives? Academics are working with a number of friendly and inclusive schools across Bristol that are seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive teams.

You'll play a vital role in helping pupils with a range of additional needs reach their potential by providing tailored learning support, fostering confidence, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver high-quality support to pupils with special educational needs. You'll provide one-to-one and small-group assistance, adapt learning materials, and help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs.

* Assist in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities.

* Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

* Uphold safeguarding and inclusion standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

✔ Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school-based preferred).

✔ Knowledge of SEN strategies and experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs.

✔ A patient, caring, and proactive approach.

✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

✔ An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
