SEN Teaching Assistant - Luton

Location: Luton

Pay: £460 - £500 per week

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Full-Time (Term Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Luton, working within the education and training sector. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

* Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND

* Be patient, nurturing, and resilient

* Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

* Be able to commute reliably to Luton

* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties

* Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

* Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and confidence

* Assisting with behaviour support and emotional regulation when required
