We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Ware, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs including ADHD, Autism, SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).

Pay: £460-£500 per week

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to support pupils across the education and training sector. Your role will include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs
* Assisting pupils with learning, communication, and emotional regulation
* Supporting personal care where required (training provided)
* Helping pupils engage with sensory-based and therapeutic activities
* Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
* Creating a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant
* A patient, caring, and reliable individual
* A genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
* Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience in SEN, care, or support roles is desirable but not essential
* A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist setting
