Location: Milton Keynes

Start Date: Immediate or After Easter

Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Pay: £95-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Milton Keynes, working within their specialist SEN unit supporting KS2 learners with autism and complex needs.

About the Role

As part of the school's inclusive support team, you will:

* Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to KS2 pupils with autism and additional complex needs.

* Work closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and external professionals.

* Help create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports both academic and emotional development.

* Use your prior SEN experience to adapt learning materials and implement behaviour and communication strategies effectively.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* Previous experience working in a similar SEN setting (essential).

* A calm, patient, and resilient nature.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.

* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
