SEN Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Opportunity | Birmingham (B12) | Immediate Start
Are you a proactive, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? Academics are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham (B12) who are seeking a committed individual to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact from day one, supporting three Reception-aged children with a range of mixed SEN needs. This is a full-time role.
The Role:
* Providing tailored, 1:1 and small group support within a Reception setting
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver engaging, supportive learning
* Encouraging development in communication, social skills, and early learning
* Creating a nurturing, structured, and positive environment
What We're Looking For:
* Someone who is hands-on, intuitive, and uses common sense in day-to-day situations
* A calm, supportive, and patient approach
* Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to the needs of the children
* A positive, energetic attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Previous SEN or EYFS experience is desirable, but the right attitude is essential
