About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide supportive, nurturing learning to pupils with complex needs
* Work 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils access personalised learning
* Encourage communication, independence and emotional development
* Support children with autism and SLD using structured, therapeutic approaches
* Collaborate with class teachers, therapists and external professionals
* Help create a safe, consistent, and engaging classroom environment
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in:
* SEN settings, SEN schools or mainstream SEN support
* Working with pupils with autism, SLD or communication needs
* Care, support work or roles involving vulnerable children
* Early Years backgrounds or primary support roles
* Personal or voluntary experience with additional needs
