Immediate Start - £14.24 per hour
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in the Lea Havering, Romford area , working within their alternative provision.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will be supporting ASD students across both KS1 and KS2 , helping pupils access learning, develop their confidence and thrive within the school environment.
The Role
* SEN Teaching Assistant position within a mainstream primary school's alternative provision
* Supporting pupils with ASD across KS1 and KS2
* Immediate start available
* £14.24 per hour
* Based in the Lea Havering / Romford area
* Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
* Providing tailored support to meet individual learning and behavioural needs
About You
* Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant is highly desirable
* Essential: proven experience supporting children or young people with ASD
* Patient, caring and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
* Able to build positive and trusting relationships with children
