Senior Acoustic Consultant - London - £45,000 to £60,000 + Benefits
A leading UK-based Acoustics Consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its growing team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced consultant to take the lead on high-profile projects across the built environment, transport, and infrastructure sectors.
Essential Criteria:
*
A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related subject.
*
5+ years of experience in acoustic consultancy.
*
Strong technical knowledge of building or environmental acoustics (or both).
*
Proficiency with acoustic modelling tools such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon, or CATT.
*
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience:
*
Chartered status (MIOA or working towards it).
*
Experience delivering BS4142, BS8233, ProPG or BB93 assessments.
*
Strong client-facing skills and project management experience.
*
Ability to mentor and support junior staff.
The Role:
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you'll lead the delivery of acoustic assessments and provide technical direction on a variety of complex projects. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners while playing a key role in developing and growing the consultancy's presence in the capital.
Key Responsibilities:

Leading acoustic modelling, noise surveys, and assessments.
*
Producing and reviewing technical reports for planning and compliance.
*
Managing client relationships and overseeing project timelines.
*
Attending design meetings, site visits, and presenting findings.
*
Supporting team development and contributing to internal training.
