SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT - £45,000 to £60,000 + Benefits - Brighton
A respected acoustics and environmental consultancy is seeking a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with a strong background in building acoustics and architectural collaboration to join their expanding team in Brighton. This is a standout opportunity for a technically skilled and creative SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT to deliver acoustic solutions for high-profile residential, education, healthcare, and cultural developments.
As a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT, you'll lead the acoustic input on design projects, offering detailed guidance on room acoustics, sound insulation, and material performance. Working directly with architects and engineers, you'll help shape environments that are both functional and acoustically exceptional.
We're looking for a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with:

4-7 years of experience in building acoustics consultancy
*
Knowledge of BB93, BS8233, BS4142, and Part E standards
*
Proficiency in tools such as ODEON, INSUL, CATT, or SoundPLAN
*
Strong technical writing, client-facing, and coordination skills
*
Experience working on detailed design stages in multidisciplinary teams
*
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
This Brighton-based hybrid role offers a £45,000 to £60,000 salary, pension, private medical, generous leave, and a clear path to Principal level.
