Job Title: Senior Air Quality Consultant
Location: Chester
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Air Quality Consultant ready to take the next step in your career? A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior position where you'll lead technical delivery, guide and mentor junior consultants, and build lasting relationships.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you'll take the lead on a variety of air quality assessments, dispersion modelling, and regulatory compliance projects. You'll collaborate closely with developers, planners, and local authorities, delivering high-quality reports and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Chester office.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver air quality consultancy projects across multiple sectors
*
Undertake dispersion modelling and review technical assessments
*
Produce clear, accurate reports, ES chapters, and client presentations
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
*
Mentor and support junior team members
*
Contribute to business development and proposal writing
What We're Looking For
*
Minimum 4 years' experience in air quality consultancy or regulation
*
Proficiency with ADMS and AERMOD, with a strong understanding of IAQM/EPUK guidance
*
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline
*
Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards (desirable)
*
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
*
Full UK driving licence
