Senior Architect
Location: Bedford
Salary: £40-46,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architect to join the commercial architecture team of a leading multidisciplinary practice in Bedford. A proven track record in commercial architecture is essential, with experience across the retail, industrial, logistics, office, and education sectors. The role will involve working across all RIBA work stages, with a particular focus on producing and coordinating detailed construction packages and overseeing works on site.

Key Responsibilities
* Interface effectively with clients and their project teams
* Communicate clearly with clients and all members of the design team
* Manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
* Take the project lead when required
* Produce and manage design and technical drawings
* Coordinate and check information from external consultants for integration into the project design
* Undertake site visits independently and produce the necessary reports
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the planning system and statutory processes
* Apply excellent knowledge of Building Regulations
* Attend industry events as a representative of the practice when required
* Maintain awareness of project budgets
Skills & Experience
* Part 3 qualified and ARB registered
* Experience working in a UK based architecture practice
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
* Experience in preparing NBS specifications
* Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other presentation software is advantageous
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
