A leading architectural practice celebrated for its work across heritage, conservation, and contemporary architecture is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join its collaborative studio in Cambridge. This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape a diverse portfolio of culturally significant projects that balance respect for historic context with innovative modern design.
The successful candidate will play a key role in project leadership and coordination, guiding design and delivery across all RIBA stages. This position is ideal for an experienced Architect with a passion for heritage and conservation, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to design excellence within a creative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage projects across all RIBA stages, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.
* Apply conservation principles and ensure compliance with heritage and building regulations.
* Oversee design and technical development, producing high-quality, contextually sensitive solutions.
* Manage client relationships and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
* Integrate sustainable design strategies and innovative practices into all project work.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Skills and Qualifications
* Fully qualified Part 3 Architect with substantial UK project experience.
* ARB registered.
* Proven ability to lead projects through all RIBA stages, ideally within heritage or conservation contexts.
* Strong technical and design skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS, with solid coordination and documentation experience.
* In-depth understanding of UK building codes, planning processes, and statutory requirements.
* Confident communicator with strong leadership and client-facing abilities.
* Passionate about conservation architecture and the cultural value of the built environment.
