Senior Architect

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £38-44,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join a well-established, RIBA-chartered architectural practice based in Birmingham. The studio is part of a dedicated team of enthusiastic individuals who are known for beautifully crafted, people-driven design. The practice works across a diverse portfolio including hospitality, healthcare, education and residential schemes, with a strong reputation for high-quality delivery and long-standing client relationships.

The role of Senior Architect will involve:

* Leading the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion

* Producing detailed architectural drawings using CAD, BIM and hand sketching techniques

* Managing project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants to meet deadlines

* Acting as Project Lead, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to a high standard

* Liaising with clients, contractors and statutory bodies including Planning and Building Control

* Preparing and presenting design proposals, reports and key stage submissions

* Undertaking site visits and representing the practice at meetings and client engagements

Requirements for the role of Senior Architect:

* ARB registered Architect with substantial post-qualification experience

* Proven ability to lead projects through all RIBA stages

* Strong design, technical and detailing skills with high creative capability

* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM environment

* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and project delivery processes

* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
