Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: Worthing

Salary: £40-46,000 DOE

I'm collaborating with an award-winning architectural practice to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for their creative team based in Worthing. This dynamic studio delivers a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial projects, taking schemes from concept through to completion.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll play a key role in coordinating project delivery, leading design teams, and liaising directly with clients, consultants, and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and is passionate about technical excellence and the successful delivery of high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities

*

Lead the delivery of projects through RIBA Stages 4-6, focusing on residential and mixed-use developments.

*

Prepare and coordinate detailed working drawing packages, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and technical details.

*

Manage coordination between design consultants, contractors, and external teams.

*

Act as a client-facing representative, ensuring clear and professional communication at all stages.

*

Oversee and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration, efficiency, and quality in design delivery.

About You

*

Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (CIAT accreditation advantageous).

*

Proven technical expertise on medium to large-scale projects (typically £5m+ construction value).

*

Proficient in Autodesk Revit (essential) and AutoCAD.

*

Excellent understanding of Building Regulations and Housing Standards.

*

Strong leadership skills, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

*

Confident working independently while maintaining strong communication in a team-based environment.

*

Highly skilled in technical detailing and knowledgeable in modern construction techniques.
