My client, an innovative, collaborative multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Civil Engineer to work in and around the bustling Birmingham region.
Essential Criteria:
* A BEng, MEng, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
* Demonstrable experience in the UK water industry, completing non-infrastructure design projects and wastewater treatment design
* Professional competency in RC detailing, and a knowledge of foundation design
* Good working knowledge and application of the UK Water Industry, British Standards, and Eurocodes
* Possess a full UK driving licence, with a willingness to travel to various sites
It would also be beneficial for prospective applicants to the role of Senior Civil Engineer to possess the following:
* Knowledge and experience of software packages, including Civils 3D, Revit, and other similar programmes
* Experience of leading engineering projects throughout all stages, within the UK Water Sector
* Chartered Engineer status with a professional body
As Senior Civil Engineer, you will be joining an expanding, successful team of design experts, with the opportunity to grow your own career in the water industry. Some of your roles and responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the design of water and wastewater treatment plans and projects, throughout all stages
* Designing RC elements, foundations, slabs, and other civil elements using relevant design software
* Producing industry-standard technical reports, construction plans, and specifications
* Assisting with the preparation of project proposals, cost estimations, and tender documents
* Conducting site visits for inspections and surveys, coordinating with contractors, clients, and other key stakeholders to align with industry standards
